I find Benny's lessons extremely intriguing and inspiring. Different from a lot of mainstream tutors, Benny offers a whole different way of learning English. Through interactions within the class and regular practices, the English language becomes fun and no longer difficult to handle. I believe Benny's classes are rewarding for a lifetime, as they offer not only the essence of the English language, but also the proper attitude to learn and to improve.

Benny's lessons are not only conducive to consolidating students' learning in various fields - reading comprehension and composition - very often, they are also sprinkled with witty remarks, which help bring an air of lightness to the class as a whole and foster my immense fondness for the English language.

Benny is my life-long idol for sure. He is the reason why I plucked up my confidence in English. Instead of teaching complicated yet useless vocabulary, he taught me practical elements of English, which are still paramountly useful in my writing now. Benny is a doctor of English; he knows exactly what your problems are, and is always ready to take you miles further. His passion and proficiency guarantee fulfilling learning experiences, and his notes are simply life-long treasures to me. He is a shepherd to the lost, a lighthouse to the advanced. 

Benny is a teacher I adore, admire and highly respect. He keeps the key to the magical world of English. If you want to learn real English, learn from him. He never disappoints.

Benny's lessons are like a box of assorted chocolate - sometimes humorously sweet, sometimes sternly bitter, sometimes inspiringly robust. After two years of indulgence, I then realised the aftertaste is influential for a lifetime.

There is no denying that DSE is a tough battle. Frankly speaking, I do not have a flair for learning languages. Therefore, there is no room for complacency. Though Benny constantly raises the bar, I am still one of his loyal fans. I attended more than 300 lessons taught by him in my secondary school life. The key to getting straight 5** is certainly diligence and Benny's teaching!

Most English tutors teach difficult vocabulary unheard of by even native speakers. Benny is certainly not one of them. Instead, he focuses more on training our critical thinking skills and acquainting us with social happenings. This drastically improve both my reading and writing skills. Polishing my writing skills and enabling me to speak in English with confidence, he is definitely one of the most inspiring teachers I have ever met.

Instead of teaching flamboyant vocabulary and rigid sentence structures, Benny emphasises teaching students how to use English fluently and naturally. After taking Benny’s lessons, not only were my grades improved, but I also felt more competent in reading and using English generally. Benny is truly a lifelong teacher of mine; he might have taught me for less than one year, but his influence is longlasting.

Benny is probably one of the best English teachers. Not only are the things he teaches very practical, his serious personality also encouraged me to strive for the best. He is definitely not the typical teacher who only blindly teaches students to use rare vocabulary, which is the reason I have not regretted attending his lessons even once.

Without that, I would never have been able to survive learning English. He is also earnest in teaching, making sure that he gives us the correct answers. Benny is a coconut. Attending his classes, I thoroughly understood the idiom, 'don’t judge a book by its cover'. With his powerful words and encouragement throughout the entire DSE battle, I did have a significant improvement in the language proficiency. Now, I am a flower blossoming in his passion for education.

Pushing yet rewarding, Benny's teachings ignited my interest in English. Without his motivation, I must not reach where I am at now.

Instead of distributing standardised notes like the other tutors in chain tutorial centres, he focuses on individual abilities of every single student and provide tailor-made guidances for us. Although it is undeniable that the workload of his teaching is quite demanding, it pays off at the end of the day.

The lessons are intensive that not only words and explanations are provided, but also example sentences and highlights of their usage, such as the positive/negative meanings implied, the part of speech and the collocating words. Benny as well identifies words that appear confusing from students’ work, grouping and addressing them, preventing and clearing up students’ misconceptions. Attending Benny’s lessons would take one’s English beyond examinations.

Benny is not the typical kind of tutors you may have expected. Contrary to the examination-oriented teaching mode advocated by many tutors, Benny focuses more on learning English itself. Throughout years of learning, not only do I enrich my vocabularies and sentence structures, but also become conscious of grammatical issues. Consequently, my language proficiency is greatly improved by virtue of Benny's teaching. As of now, I am still a die-hard fan of Benny with the appreciation of his attitude towards teaching. Dedicating himself to teaching, Benny writes his own learning materials meticulously, thereby catering to the needs of students by not forcing them into memorizing something difficult and useless. With Benny's nourishment, guidance and nurture, the once flower seedling is now radiating beams of beauty.

Janice is focused and therefore takes in the concepts of English quickly and effectively. Going the extra mile is what makes Janice stand out.

Nicole shows a strong interest in English and is keen on exploring it. Because of her enthusiasm, her dream comes true and she goes to law school.

Bridget has a natural flair for English and can master the language easily. With a more sustained effort, she is on the way to success.

Emax is diligent, able to express her ideas well and finally makes headway in advancing her English proficiency.

There is no question that Benny is dedicated to teaching. Lesson time is often efficiently used, while he can always grab my attention as he tries to make English less dull. Benny’s classes allow me to widen my vocabulary quickly, since new vocabulary is presented in many different ways. He points out alternatives to words that I overuse in essays, and introduces words which look similar to one another. I will certainly miss being in his class.

Jeffrey has progressed a lot in his English, being able to articulate his opinion, and to use grammar and vocabulary correctly. With an understanding of the language, he deserves what he has got.

Celia is a diligent student, able to make use of what she learnt to write good essays and express her ideas lucidly.
